The Jake Memorial K9 Assistance Foundation is a certified 501c (3) Not-for-Profit charitable organization. As such, under corporate law, any donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible.

The foundation was established by Joe and Shirley Moscato in memory of their beloved family member, an all white German Shepard named Jake. Jake passed away last January at the age of 12 years. During his 11 years with the Moscato family, Jake was confronted with numerous health issues, some life threatening. Each time Jake would courageously fight back and recover. One veterinarian called Jake the ultimate survivor. Unfortunately, Jake would succumb to insidious kidney disease, a battle he was destined to lose.

To perpetuate his courageous, loving spirit, the Jake Foundation hopes to make a difference by saving lives and preventing broken hearts.
